Ron Smith Pipe Brandy with Acrylic and Faux Horn

Acrylic stems have come a long way in the last decade, and this buxom, straight brandy from Ron Smith of Ranz Freehands looks as close to the real thing as is possible.  Benefitting from acrylic's much sturdier qualities, this stem will never shift or become loose with use, and the blue trim is a welcome touch of color, fulcrumed between the earth tone and smooth stummel.  Still clenchable for shorter periods, this handful of palm friendly briar is well drilled with a sensual draw and has plenty of wood to be the kind of workhorse smoker that can get it done with very little maintenance or coaxing, no matter the occasion or tobacco variety.
