Taerea Tatau – KUNUFLEX Short Sleeve Shirt

This intricate design was drawn by Tahitian tattoo (or “tatau”) artist Julio Taerea from the Tuamotu archipelago. It showcases traditional ink you might find on the beautiful French Polyneisan isle, where the practice of tatau is deeply important in representing culture, ancestry, spiritual beliefs.

For this collection, we worked closely with two Tahitian artists to create designs that reflect the true culture of the French Polynesian paradise that is Tahiti.
